	We were ordering shave ice at Waiola Store. My Haole hubby ordered "A large cone with Passion Fruit and Lilikoi". ~Andrea

	We had a party at our house and you know how in Hawaii, you put all the food on a table and its buffet style and then you go sit wherever - in front of the TV or in the living room at the low card table and talk story. His family managed to squeeze 10 people around the table and have a formal meal. My family sat in the living room on the floor. ~K

	When my husband first had a taste of Durian, the famous smelling fruit from the Philippines, he had to hold his nose and his breath. He said it tasted like sweet creamy custard but it stank so bad ;-) Since then he's made it a law that Durian is not allowed inside the house however we can enjoy it outside the house as long as we wash up before we come in. ~ Louella Van Osdol
