My Uncle and
Aunty in Hilo (both Japanese) had three children, cousins Melvin, Margo
and Marcia (notice the M's) and they adopted a little haole boy named
Michael. Well, too make a long story short....Melvin, Margo and
Marcia all married haole's and guess what??? Michael married a Hawaiian
Hilo girl, a former Miss Hilo. Cute yeah!!!! ~ Ichiro Komita |

I'm from Oahu. My

of California. We got married in 1994 at Waialae Baptist Church. God
blessed us last year with our hapa baby Thaddeus who is 9 months now. To our

My husband and I have been
married for almost 6 years. I was adopted from S. Korea (though I hear I
look Japanese) and raised in Georgia. I met my husband when we were
both in the United States Navy. We moved here 1 year ago and this is our
first time to Hawaii. I absolutely love the diversity here! Even though
we'll only be here for 3 years, it will be a memory to last a lifetime.
