I knew my
relationship was special when my haole husband to-be showed up at my
parents for the first time with a six pack of Bud Light and a pound of
tako poki! He loves raw fish, kim chee and even tried balut! He's a rare
haole hubby breed. Watch out Fear Factor. ~ Julie McManus |

My haole hubby is straight from the
motherland- Western Europe. It gets no whiter than that. Claus
introduced me to wine and cheese as a daily part of the diet, and
associated with it, a whole new vocabulary. Now I know what a "cruvinet"
is. I've also converted to dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate,
and only buy butter, not margarine. ~ Diane Ako, Honolulu |

I am "hapa" by
birth, as my father was Filipino and my mother is a haole. Having
married a haole-man our blonde children are second generation Hapa! ~
