I'm a native of Britain who
has lived in numerous countries, (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and
the U.S.) and I'm also married to a Filipino man. I won't lie. It has been
difficult being married to one another because we come from different
cultures, but we're making it work for us and the sake of our 2 year old
son. I'm so happy that there's a website available like yours and I've
enjoyed surfing on it. ~ A million thanx-Lise. |

Aloha! I think your website
is fantastic. The stories make me laugh, and I remember some of those truths
from my mom and dad's marriage. My little girl is growing up with lots of
love from her many aunties and uncles, and my boyfriend has finally realized
that nah, brah, dey not all da blood-kine ohana, but deys all da family. ~

I was doing the only surfing you can do in
Michigan (on the web) and stumbled on this brilliant site! Being a hapa
haole, you can imagine my surprise when I found a hapa site! My haole
husband is relishing in the fact that his past, present and future mishaps
are not his alone. I have told my family back in Oahu about this site and
they cannot get enough either!! Thanks! ~ Christi |

I could write so much about
my experiences being Asian and living with haoles my whole life, but I will
suffice to say how much I enjoyed this website, how much it made me miss
Hawaii, how it made me laugh and how much I can really relate to what has
been written. I have added it to my favorites and will keep reading. I bet
you get tons of hits after the PC is read! ~ Janet Matsuoka Keegan, Idaho |

Well, our little hapa Tasia
has inherited more of her Asian features, interestingly, especially with
yellow skin yellow-er than mine (hence, I call her my banana). Well, aloha
to all and have pride w/ our interracial relationship. In fact, we bought a
whole set of the items of shirts and wear them proudly!! ~ Gina Nguyen,
